These are one of my favorite snacks


135g raw cashews

175g (I generally reduce this) of pitted dates (medjool are great)

2 super-heaped tablespoons of organic cacao powder 

2 tablespoons of almond or cashew nut butter

3-4 tablespoons of filtered water


PS: The origenal receipe includes a little salt, which can add a nice flavour profile, but I prefer without.


Line a plate or tray with baking paper

Blend all ingredients in a food processor until well combined. Gardually add water to soften the mixture. Be careful not to make it too smooth, so be conservative with the water.

Roll teaspoons of the mixture into balls and place on baking paper. Sprinkle a little cacao on top, or even crushed nuts.

Place in fridge for 30 to 40 min to "set". 

You can keep for around a week.
