AIR POLLUTION - MORE DANGEROUS THAN PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT
New research shows that human brains are being contaminated by magnetic particles found in air pollution.
Scientists believe this to be one of the largest contributing factors to the current neurological disease epidemic (1 in 7 people worldwide). These particles have been linked to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, strokes, cognitive deficits and a host of other brain abnormalities. The scary thing is that according to the World Health Organization, 87% of the world's population is exposed to levels of air pollution that exceed safety guidelines. Fortunately there are several precautions one can take to limit the risk of adverse health outcomes that I discuss in my seminar entitled: Cognition - the Science of IntelligenceBACK
